Welcome to PrimeDocu. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrimeDocu (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PrimeDocu is a document management application that provides:

• Document scanning and capture.
• PDF generation and editing.
• Electronic signatures.
• AI-powered summarisation and translation.
• Cloud storage with end-to-end encryption.
• Form filling and document organisation.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. Subscription Plans & Payment

4.1 Free Plan

• 1 GB cloud storage.
• 10 one-time AI credits.
• Basic features (scan, sign, convert).

4.2 Paid Plans

• Pro ($9.99/month): 100 AI credits/month, 5 GB storage, no ads, larger document size.
• Premium ($19.99/month): Higher AI quotas, 25 GB storage, priority support, no ads.

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
• Payments processed by Stripe (web) or Google Play / Apple App Store (mobile).
• You may cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are at our sole discretion, except where required by law.

4.4 Credit Packs

• One-time purchases — credits do not expire.
• Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
• Unused credits are forfeited on account deletion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Upload, store, or share illegal content.
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others.
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service for spamming or unauthorised commercial use.
• Share account credentials with others.
• Use automated tools to bulk-process documents beyond reasonable personal use.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

We do not access, view, or share your encrypted documents. AI features process documents only when you explicitly trigger them.

7. Intellectual Property

PrimeDocu, its logo, design, code, and all related materials are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute these without our written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrimeDocu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

10. AI Features Disclaimer

AI-generated content (summaries, translations, form-fill suggestions) may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all AI output before relying on it for important decisions. PrimeDocu is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time via the app or by emailing us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Data Deletion Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except for small-claims court matters.
